How Does Shipiro Work?

Shipiro is the only one stop, plug and play integration between BigCommerce and Shipwire - plug and play, no hassles. Just give Shipiro your BigCommerce and Shipwire API information - Shipiro does the rest. Each time a customer places an order on your BigCommerce store, Shipiro will receive the order, run quality checks to make sure there are no errors, then send the order along to Shipwire for fulfillment.

How Does Shipiro Work?

Shipiro acts as a connector and translator between BigCommerce and Shipwire. Shipiro gets orders from BigCommerce's API and checks them for "shipability". All items that are shippable are then translated into a format Shipwire can understand, then transmitted to the Shipwire API for fulfillment according to the options set in your Shipwire account. You will be able to view all these transactions in BigCommerce, Shipiro, and in Shipwire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Shipiro secure?

Because Shipiro deals only with shipping information, we never even see your customers' payment information. All Shipiro retrieves from BigCommerce is each order's shipping information and product line items. Shipiro then processes that data and relays it to Shipwire. All data transfer from BigCommerce and Shipwire is encrypted, and any data Shipiro collects is held on a secure server.

What Tools are Available for Debugging?

Shipiro provides a full and transparent XML audit history of all orders received from BigCommerce and transmitted to Shipwire. Simply log into your Shipiro account and select "View Orders". You'll be able to search for and view the exact contents of any order that has flowed through Shipiro.

How Does Shipiro Determine What Items are "Shippable"?

Shipiro respects the per-item settings you have configured in BigCommerce. Shipiro examines each item in each order - items marked "Physical" are shippable, while items marked as "Downloadable" will not be transmitted to Shipwire.

What about multiple shipping addresses?

Currently Shipiro does not support more than one shipping address per order. If this is a feature you need, send in a feature request on the contact page.
